So after about two months our Southern round-trip comcluded by returning to Puebla, Cholula and reunite with our trailer stored in the Trailer Park Las Americas.

This segment of our trip covered 4325 km, included 17 air'bnbs, a Christmas Eve, a New Years celebration and many more highlights.

We visited the Yucatan Merida,Tulum,
Bacalar, then Belize:
Bermudian Landing and many places at Guatemala, starting with
Tikal and later
Coban,
Antigua Guatemala, Lake Atitlan.

After returning to Mexico again we stopped by at Comitan, Canyon del Sumidero, then
Puerto Escondido and Oaxaca and many more!

We have seen beautiful ruins and temples in the middle of the jungle, orchids, coffee plantations, waterfalls, lakes, canyons, nice small towns, magnificent pacific beaches.

It was a good decision to leave our trailer behind as the road was definitely not ready for such a big rig. Sometimes we hardly passed with our SUV either due to the narrow streets or due to the extreme steep roads with heavy traffic. So if you consider to follow this exact route then we suggest to use a rig shorter than 25 feet and as narrow as possible. Anything above that size will cause serious issues on this route.

We were really happy to return to our beloved trailer and the kids were really excited too. Our 2 year old started to speak and he told every day the we go to a "új haza" (meaning a new home or also a new homeland). Even he was beyond excited and was running around "Sally" when we arrived.
