We have stopped enroute to Denali Park from Delta Junction at this museum after visiting the Vintage Auto Museum.
The museum is located within the Alaska University Campus and we liked the modern building a lot already from the outside.
Our kids enjoyed a lot the informative and interactive nature of the museum and we have learned a lot too.
Their favourite was the microscope where they could pick from a lot of prepared items (bugs, mosquitos, bees and trailmarks of different animals).
We just arrived one hour before closure and it is highly recommended to plann2-3 hours for a more relaxed visit.
